Campaign finance reports show the GOP establishment is rallying around one candidate in the race for state attorney general, while there was no such cash advantage to be found among the five Democrats seeking the office.
The Republican attorney general candidate who received his party’s nod, York County District Attorney Dave Sunday, has a small fundraising advantage over his opponent, state Rep. Craig Williams of Delaware County.
Democratic donors have yet to coalesce around one of the five candidates, and the state party has declined to endorse in the race.

 PERSONAL PROFIT: Dave McCormick, the Republican candidate for U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania, was a treasury official under President George W. Bush and worked to expand U.S. financial firms' access to China. Years later, as a hedge fund manager, McCormick profited from the lower investment barriers he lobbied for, HuffPost reports.
 EXPERT ADVICE: Cybersecurity and election integrity experts urged Pennsylvania to move away from touchscreen voting machines in testimony before state lawmakers this week, calling the machines more susceptible to errors and hacking — though they said there is no evidence to call past elections into question, via Capital-Star.
